Ways I Serve

Learning Networks bring communities and stakeholders together to learn from one another, share ideas, and work towards a goal that the stakeholders have in common, either within an organization or a goal shared across organizations.  Learning within an organization and across distances with others in similar positions can often accelerate our vision and improve implementation.

Learning Networks

Planning is hard. Let me step in to collaborate with you, as you take the plunge and explore the ways in which your school or organization is thriving, ways it can improve, and the steps needed to take it to the next level. Whether you want to develop a policy or program, I’m available to support you as you dare to do better.

Training & Coaching

When it comes to building the skills to do the job, people learn in so many ways. I partner with schools and organizations to coach, train and provide technical assistance to their leadership teams, staff and families. From COVID-19 health and safety protocols to anti-bias training to understanding transgender rights in school, I meet educators where they are, and build from there.

Policy Analysis & Interpretation

A self-identified policy nerd with a graduate degree in public policy, I love navigating systems to make them work better for young people. That’s why schools and organizations value and trust my expertise when it comes to unpacking and implementing laws, regulations, policies and guidance that impact student success. When I work with schools and organizations, I’m right by your side, interpreting and prioritizing guidance, while assisting with planning and implementation.

Speaking & Commentary

Shy, I’ve never been called. Opinionated, yes. I speak with authority and experience, always with an eye on equity and centering the needs of young people. Whether I’m asked to guest blog or keynote, I bring a bold, fearless perspective that pushes audiences to move beyond their current station, and do what they can to bravely dismantle bias and build equity.
